INGREDIENTS |
1 whole bone-in ham (precooked spiral cut)
2 6 ounce cans pineapple juice
1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple
2 cups brown sugar(packed)
20-30 cloves
1/4 cup golden raisins(optional)

PREPARATION
Place ham in a large roasting pan. Slowly pour the pineapple juice over the ham, making sure to saturate in between the slices; using a spoon, spread the crushed pineapple over the top of the ham.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and cloves. Add raisins over the top & to the juices in the pan. Cover & refrigerate overnight.
Notes:
If spiral ham is not available, ask butcher to slice cooked ham into 1/8 in thick slices & tie securely.

COOKING
When ready to cook, remove cloves & cover. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours; basting every 15 minutes. |
