Grandma Flo’s Cranberry Mold Salad

INGREDIENTS

6 oz. cranberry gelatin
3 cups water (boiling)
1 cup cranberry juice
6 oz. cream cheese (softened)
8 oz. frozen whipped topping (thawed)
1 cup walnuts (chopped)
1 cup celery (chopped)
1 cup cranberries

PREPARATION


Using a large bowl, dissolve the gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cranberry juice and refrigerate until slightly thickened.

In a separate mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese, until smooth, blending in the whipped cream. Fold this into the gelatin mixture, adding berries, nuts and celery.

Pour into a 3 qt. ring mold, using non stick cooking spray.

COOKING


Refrigerate until set; about 3 hours. Remove from mold and serve.
