INGREDIENTS

3 onions (diced)
8 mushrooms
1 bell pepper
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 lb. ground sirloin
1 egg
Bread crumbs (enough to hold together)
Salt & pepper
4 - 6 bacon strips
2 tbsp olive oil

PREPARATION

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

On low heat, in olive oil, sauté the onion, mushrooms, bell pepper & garlic, when tender set aside.

In a mixing bowl add egg, salt, pepper & bread crumbs to the meat. When mixed, fold the sauté into the meat mixture.

COOKING

In a baking pan, lay foil down with the strips of bacon on top. Place the meat on top of the bacon; molding it into a rectangular box.

Take the ends of the bacon and wrap them up around the meat, using toothpicks to secure.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 375 degrees.
