| Grandma Flo’s Apricot Bavarian Crème Desserts

INGREDIENTS |
4 cups drained apricot halves
¾ cups sugar
1 Tbsp lemon juice
3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
½ cup Amaretto liquor
1 pint whipping cream.

PREPARATION
In a blender, combine apricot halves until smooth. In a sauce pan, mix gelatin and amaretto; stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved. In a large bowl, stir gelatin into apricot mix thoroughly.
Chill in refrigerator until mixture thickens slightly(about 45min); remove from fridge and fold in whipping cream.
NOTES: You may use fresh apricots instead of canned. Use over ripe apricot for a sweeter flavor. |
COOKING
Pour into a 2 qt mold and chill until firm, about 4 hours.
Serve or top with whipping cream
