| Grandma Flo’s Apple Crumb CakeDesserts

INGREDIENTS |
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 pkg vanilla pudding (instant)
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup butter(melted)
½ cup sugar
¼ cup walnuts (chopped)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 eggs
2 med. green apples (shredded/peeled)

PREPARATION
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl; mix cake and pudding mixes, eggs, sour cream, and butter and set aside.
Peel, slice and shred apples, set aside. In a small bowl combine the sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
Grease an 8 in. square baking dish and pour half of the cake mixture into it. Top with apples and half of the sugar mix. Pour the remaining cake and sugar mix over.
May substitute green apples for any other tart apple.

COOKING
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center.
Cool for 10 to 15 min and invert onto a serving platter. |
