Mrs. Goethel’s Caramel Custard

INGREDIENTS

2/3 cups caramel topping
8 oz. cream cheese
½ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
6 eggs
2 cups milk.

PREPARATION


Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Pour caramel into buttered 9 in. pie pan.

Mix cream cheese till smooth, add sugar and vanilla; blending well. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth; blend in milk. Carefully pour this over the caramel.

Place in a larger pan, filled with water.

COOKING


Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, or until knife comes out clean.

Set to cool, then flip over onto a serving dish. Refrigerate for 30 min or until ready to serve.
