Grandma Flo's Cream of Corn Soup

INGREDIENTS

5 cups fresh corn (whole kernel)
5 cups milk
2 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp butter (melted)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 eggs

PREPARATION


Remove corn kernels from core and place in double broiler with 4 cups of milk.

SOUP
Blend in flour and melted butter. Add salt and pepper. Run through a coarse sieve. Refrigerate or prepare to serve.

SERVING
Beat the eggs and add 1 cup of milk. Stir this into the soup. return to heat.

COOKING


CORN
Cook corn in a double broiler for 25 minutes. Remove from heat.

SOUP
Return to heat for 5 minutes.

SERVING
Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, beat and serve at once
