Grandma Flo’s Chocolate Macaroons

INGREDIENTS

2 eggs (whites only)
1 tsp salt
½ cup sugar
½ cup chocolate chips (melted)
½ cup coconut (shredded)
1 tsp vanilla.

PREPARATION


Heat oven to 325 degrees.

In a medium bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Add salt and sugar; beat well after each addition, until mixture stands stiff. Slowly melt chocolate chips and cool.

Fold in vanilla, chocolate and coconut.

Drop from teaspoon onto an un-greased cookie sheet, covered with brown paper.

COOKING


Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
